Ingredients
Dry Ingredients:
1 cup oats
1/2 cup protein powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
Wet Ingredients:
1/2 cup almond butter or sunflower seed butter
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
1/4 cup applesauce
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Preparation:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mixing:
1. In a bowl, combine oats, protein powder, baking soda, and salt.
2. In another bowl, mix almond butter, honey, applesauce, and vanilla extract.
Combining:
1. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, stirring until well combined.
2. If mixture is too thick, add a splash of almond milk or water.
Baking:
1. Use a cookie scoop to portion dough onto baking sheet.
2. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
3. Let cool on a cooling rack.
