Egg-Free Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients

Wet Ingredients:
1 cup softened butter or plant-based alternative
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup applesauce or mashed banana
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of salt
3 cups rolled oats

Optional Add-ins:
1 cup raisins or chocolate chips

Instructions

Preparation:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.

Mixing:
1. Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
2. Add applesauce and vanilla, mixing well.
3. Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture.
5. Fold in oats and optional add-ins.

Baking:
1. Scoop tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets.
2. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
3. Cool on sheets before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
