Description

A delightful twist on the classic cookie, combining sweet chocolate with savory sea salt for a gourmet treat.


Ingredients

Dry Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Wet Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Add-ins:
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Extra sea salt for sprinkling


Instructions

Mixing:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and sea salt.
3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.

Combining:
1. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
2. Fold in chocolate chips.

Baking:
1. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto prepared baking sheets.
2. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on each cookie.
3. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.

Cooling:
1. Let cookies cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
